1/15/2008 Five players from Ciudad Ros Casares will go to the Euroleague Women's All-Stars. Elisa Aguilar, Laia Palau, Evanthia Maltsi, Katie Douglas and DeLisha Milton-Jones have been selected, and their fans can still vote for them on FIBA Europe's web page.

Moscow will take the handoff from Valencia, with Spartak undertaking to host the event. The All-Star event, now in its third year, will take place Thursday, March 13. Last season, Elisa Aguilar and Evanthia Maltsi (Europe) y DeLisha Milton-Jones y Katie Douglas (The Rest of the WOrld) participated in the event. Laia Palau and Evanthia Maltsi competed in the three-point contest. Manolo Real was assistant coach.

The election is for two teams: Europe and The Rest of the World. Every fan, with one vote each, must choose a center, two wings and two guards for each side.

Ciudad Ros Casares will have a place on its website (www.roscasaresbasket.com) where the team's fans can vote for their favorite players for the Moscow game. Besides the five selected for the Europe team, fans can also vote for their favorite players to fill the Rest of the World team.

Ciudad Ros Casares travels this Wednesday to Lithuania where, this Thursday at 5 p.m. Spain time, they'll face a new challenge in TEO Vilnius' tough venue, the Lietuvos Rytas Arena II, which seats 2,000. Punt 2 will have the game via direct feed.
