Ros Casares announce Manolo Real as replacement for Albert
12/29/2006 – After the non-renewal of Esteban Albert as head coach of Ciudad Ros Casares in the Liga Femenina, the valencian club has decided to put Manolo Real, up to now the chief of scouting, at the head of the team.

There were several candidates for the vacant spot, but at the end of the day, according to General Manager Carme Lluveras, “Manolo Real had all the qualifications we were looking for to change the dynamic of the team. He’s a qualified coach with a good background in men’s basketball, in addition to being one of our organization.”
Manolo Real has commented, “It is an honor for them to have thought of me. This is a great responsibility and a great challenge, both personal and professional, to fulfill the goals laid down by the Club.”
With the team returning from their Christmas holidays, tomorrow begins the practice push for the first title of 2007, the Queen’s Cup. The team will practice in the Fonteta from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
